MTC – Week 1

[Early Morning Email]

Right now we woke up at 5:30 to get laundry done early…

Anyways, I don’t know either of those people that you mentioned, although my district is only made up of intermediate speakers. I think there are one or two other Spanish-speaking districts here that have people going to my mission so they could be in there. I’ll keep an eye out. I should be in the MTC for about 6 weeks so right now the 12 or 13 of September is probably when I’ll be leaving. I also have my date for the end of my mission (haha), 16 July 2018. (Now you can make the countdown a little bit more specific). I don’t know what I want for my scripture on the plaque yet so I’ll email you sometime later today when I have my scriptures. I’m also just finishing laundry so I don’t have much time to write that much about whats been going on but I can later. Talk to you then!

[Later in the day]

Okay so the server for the computers has been down, like, all day. Its working now but I don’t have much time.  I’m trying to upload some pictures right now so stand by…

Oh yeah I thought of something that you can add to my package. I need a bar soap holder. I’m surprised they don’t have any here in the store. So the biggest adjustment being in the MTC so far has been sitting in a classroom for the entire day and having no time to myself anymore. Everything is planned out and we barely have time to exercise most days. But we still have fun sometimes (of course, just talking in English is my definition of fun now) and I’ve been having some cool experiences here and the devotional on Sunday was really cool. We also watched Ephraim’s Rescue that night and it was really good. The best part was that when two characters kissed the missionaries went wild and it took like two minutes for it to quiet down. Thanks for your prayers and for the stuff you’re sending. Also if you use ‘dearelder.com’ I can get the letters physically the same day and I can send mail whenever so it might actually get to you before my next p-day!  I’m running out of time because of the computer mishap today so hopefully that’s enough information for now and if you use dearelder.com I can probably respond with more information later this week.
